The 11-year-old Batyr moves only with support

When the child was four months old, his parents began to notice his nystagmus and photophobia. As it turned out later, these were the first calls that there was a serious diagnosis.

After long examinations, at the age of three, Batyr was diagnosed with Peliceus-Merzbacher leukodystrophy. This is a rare and, alas, incurable hereditary disease characterized by damage to the central nervous system.

The family continuously conducts treatment for the boy. The rehabilitation courses brought good results: Batyr learned to walk with the help of crabs and to eat on his own.

In order not to lose the acquired skills, the boy must continue rehabilitation therapy.

Unfortunately, the parents had no money left for this.

"We sold gold, valuables, and even went into debt. But there is still not enough money for treatment," says the mother of our ward.

In order for Batyr Iziev to be able to complete the necessary rehabilitation course in time at the Inklinik Medical Center, the Insan Charity Foundation opens a collection in the amount of 437650 rubles.
